Founder, Conscious Healthcare SA
Trevor Keen
Trevor is a physiotherapist whose lived experience of disability led him to found Conscious Healthcare SA, bringing psychology, assessments, occupational therapy, behaviour support and dietetics under one roof in Adelaide.

Why Trevor started CHSA
Trevor founded the practice in 2019 as Trevor Keen Health Services. It grew into Conscious Healthcare SA: a multidisciplinary practice with clinics in Salisbury and Seacliff, built to offer inclusive therapy for every body and every brain.
Five of Trevor's close family members live with disability. Through them, he saw how often the care people received fell short, and he wanted CHSA to give every client the care you'd want for your own mum, dad, brother or sister. Having worked at a larger provider, he believes the way a service treats its most vulnerable people says a lot about it, and that good care means putting your heart into it and going the extra mile.

How Trevor writes for CHSA
Trevor helps write our guides alongside the clinicians who deliver each service. Every guide names its author, shows when it was last reviewed, and cites official Australian sources such as the Department of Health, Services Australia, the NDIS and SA Health.
Facts about rules, rebates and services are checked against official sources, and every guide is reviewed at least once a year. Read how in our editorial policy.
