About James
In 2021 James published a book about his experience of Crohn’s disease, Crushing Crohn’s: Medication Free, to help others facing similar challenges.
“I’m passionate about helping you achieve your health and nutrition goals, no matter how big or small. Nutrition is a vital part of our lives. We eat multiple times a day, every day, so my goal is to help you build a positive relationship with food while meeting your unique dietary needs.”

What's the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist?
Dietitians must complete an accredited dietetics degree from an Australian university. "Nutritionist" isn't a legally protected title, so anyone can use it, with or without formal training.
What do the professional associations mean?
James is a member of Dietitians Australia, Sports Dietitians Australia and Australian Diabetes Educators Association. Dietitians Australia is the national body for dietitians. Professional associations support their members to keep up with research and good practice.

- 1
Getting to know you

- 2

James uses evidence-based practice to build a plan around your goals, your preferences and your routine.
- 3
Putting it into practice
“One of my favourite parts of the job is cooking alongside clients in their kitchens to make the process fun and practical!”
“I focus on what you can do, not your limitations.”

Private
No referral needed. You pay for each session directly.
See our current feesMedicare
To claim a Medicare rebate, ask your GP about a chronic condition management plan. A referral on its own isn't enough. With a plan, Medicare covers part of the cost of a limited number of allied health sessions each year, and our team can explain what that means for you.
See our current feesNDIS
We're a registered NDIS provider. You'll need funding for dietetics in your NDIS plan, then you can send us a referral. Plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed plans are all accepted.
